Why can't I apply for a job?

All users need to be registered on teenjobs.com.au before applying for a job. If you have already applied for a job using an existing email address, you cannot apply again using the same address.

I have forgotten my username and/or password...

Your username for teenjobs.com.au is the email address you used when you registered with us.

If you have forgotten your password for teenjobs.com.au you can reset your password by clicking the ‘forgot password link in the login box’ or by clicking here.

I registered but did not get an email... what do I do?

Emails can sometimes take up-to 5-10 minutes to arrive to your inbox during busy periods. Always check your junk mail as they can end up in there (especially Hotmail & Gmail accounts).

Once you have received an email from Teen Jobs, it’s good practice to add the Teen Jobs email address to your ‘safe list’, so that you will always receive future notifications. If you have not received an email within 30 minutes (extreme cases), please email our support team by clicking here.

Will I get a reply if my job application is not successful?

This is up to the discretion of the employer. Usually if an employer received a lot of job applications, they will only respond to successful applicants. It’s always good to make a follow up phone call to your potential employer a few days after submitting your application.

How do I search for a job in an area near me?

Using the quick search, you can select your suburb and then tick the box next to ‘surrounding suburbs’. This will give you results of jobs within an 8km radius of your suburb. Using the advanced search here, you can select how far away from your suburb you want to search, i.e. 5km to 30km, as well as other specific search criteria.

How do I close my Teen Jobs account?

Currently the only way to delete your account is to contact us and we will remove your account within 48 hours.
